What is Worker's Compensation?

Injuries that occur at the workplace, or while on the job, are covered by worker's compensation.  Worker's compensation gives an employer, general contractors, co-employees and others, immunity from a lawsuit for work place injuries caused by their negligence.  An injured worker must pursue compensation through the worker's compensation system, not with a personal injury attorney.

We Do Not Handle Simple Worker's Compensation Cases

Often times, injured workers do need the help of an attorney.  Specialized worker's compensation attorneys handle those claims.  We do not handle worker's compensation cases.

We Aggressively Pursue Injuries Caused to Workers by the Negligence of a Third Party

Sometimes an employee is injured by a third party while on the job.  So long as the third party is not in the protected class (employer, co employee, contractor, etc.) the injured worker has the right to pursue both a worker's compensation case and a personal injury lawsuit.  We represent injured worker's in bringing third party claims.  An example of a third party claim might be a delivery person who is involved in an auto accident while on the job.  If the accident is caused by the negligence of third party, the injured worker can collect worker's compensation and can bring a lawsuit against the negligent driver.

If you, or a loved one, has been injured by the negligence of a third party, please call or click for a free consultation.  Home and hospital visits are available.  No fee unless we collect.
